Three months ago I finished off a living area in the basement. I decided on carpet tile because of the durability and easy clean up. Little did I know they would save me so much money in the long run. Soon after installing the tiles, which I did myself, the dog chewed a hole in one of the tiles. I replaced the tile and the floor looked as good as new. The dog did the same thing upstairs and the hole is still there. Two weeks ago the basement flooded with 4 inches of water.
